As every year and as a solidarity event that we are, from LABORAL Kutxa Bilbao Surf Film Festival we collaborate with different agents, groups and people, both local and international, to try, from the platform and visibility offered by the festival, to help in solidarity and/or charity projects of social, sporting and cultural impact. Surfing is much more than a sport, and we are much more than a festival.

In this 2024 edition we collaborate mainly with local groups such as FEKOOR and the Fundación Deporte sin Barreras.In this edition of 2024, we are collaborating with local groups such as FEKOOR and Fundación Deporte sin Barreras, in order to raise awareness of the importance and necessity of inclusive sports, and in the search for funding and fundraising in order to promote the careers of athletes with functional diversity who otherwise would not have the option of making the leap to the sport they practice.

We also collaborate with the international NGO SurfAid in their beautiful idea of leaving in the surfing destinations of the Pacific Ocean, something in exchange for what these places offer to surfers from all over the world: hospitality, welcome, landscapes and incredible waves… The SurfAid organization promotes cooperation projects for the development of sites and populations in Indonesia and surrounding areas, creating training programs, logistical assistance…
