The ‘Surf Party’ of the LABORAL Kutxa Bilbao Surf Film Festival is back. An unmissable date for the surfing community that will enjoy the premiere of Jon Aspuru’s new film and the performances of ‘Silitia’ and ‘Chuler\u00eda, Joder!’. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This Thursday, February 20th, at 21:00, the Surf Jaia 2025 will be held at the Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao. The prelude to the tenth edition of the LABORAL Kutxa Bilbao Surf Film Festival. In addition to advance some of the novelties of this year, the premiere of ‘Glory and Consequence’, the latest audiovisual work of filmmaker Jon Aspuru bakiotarra, in collaboration with well-known local cameras as Edu Bartolom\u00e9, Gaizko Fanarraga, Gorka Ezkurdia, Isio Noya, Joseba Larri, Paula Odriozola, and Juan Lazkano will be screened. <\/p>\n

The film will show the adventures of renowned Basque surfers such as Aritz Aranburu, Iker Acero, Zuku, Natxo Gonzalez, Kepa Acero, Txaber Trojaola… in an epic day in the legendary wave of Mundaka. <\/p>\n

Live music
<\/strong>After the premiere, the public will enjoy the performance of the Ezkerraldea group ‘Chuler\u00eda, Joder!’, direct and uncompromising rock, in which punk rock sounds and choruses accompanying the charismatic voice of Iratxe P\u00e9rez shine. <\/p>\n

The duo ‘Silitia’ will also perform with their cosmic rock. Young artistic couple from Bilbao born in the Faculty of Fine Arts (UPV\/EHU) and that treasures awards such as the ‘Rockein 2023’ or the ‘Gaztea Maketa Lehiaketa 2021’ for its fresh and unmistakable sound. <\/p>\n

The Surf Party thus returns to kick off the tenth edition of the LABORAL Kutxa Bilbao Surf Film Festival to be held from March 13 to 16 at its venues in Muxikebarri (Getxo) and Itsasmuseum (Bilbao).<\/p>\n

The Laboral Kutxa Bilbao Surf Film Festival will offer the screening of 60 films from 20 countries, 70% of which will be world premieres.
