'Second life' sustainable exhibition
- 09:00—23:00
- Thursday 29.02.2024 | Friday 01.02.2024
- Hall Muxikebarri
In the exhibition ‘Bigarren bizitza’ (‘Second life’) of the artist Jon Ander Campos, he aims to raise awareness and make us participants of the need to care for the environment. By means of this “waste turned into art” he represents the influence of human beings on the environment and the capacity to influence it.
This work intends to represent the power that we human beings have. Whether to provoke a problem such as pollution, or the art of reversing that situation into something positive in art or learning.
With this perspective of raising awareness about the ability to reduce waste, recycle and reuse materials, seeking to raise awareness about the care of the ocean: from the garbage to the gallery. A performance of works related to the sea and surfing made with recycled materials.
“Beyond aesthetics, I consider art as a tool for social transformation”.
