David Bustamante ‘Zumo’, also known as ‘Zuku’, is a surfer who, with a lot of dedication and passion, has made a name for himself in the world of big waves. Such a singular character that stands apart from the crowd, with its own style, might be described by some as “Hippie” or “Freaky”, but it shows a way of being deeply connected to his community and a great love for nature and the care of mind and body. Zuku has travelled to some of the best waves in the world, and without being a professional surfer, has surfed some waves that have marked a milestone in the history of surfing.
